Colour Me Agbalumo
Easier to talk about Agbalumo than admit I was missing in your lives.
KEYNOTE
I figured it’s easier to talk about agbalumo than admit I’ve been away from your lives. It’s even easier to say I love bitter agbalumo than to say Happy New Year. But if you’re following I just wished you. Anyhoo, I probably sound like a broken record right now but I’m back again, for the umpteenth time. Happy New Year guys, fr fr. We made it. Let’s write (and read) more this year. But guys, it’s also really agbalumo szn, and how I show up here is like agbalumo.
Now, into the thick of it, what do we have

My thoughts about the iShowSpeed Tour in Nigeria
WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO?
Well, my life in 2025 took an interesting turn, and believe me when I say ‘an interesting turn’. When they say life is not linear, na 2025 dem dey talk about. I cried, I laughed, I went bankrupt, I asked for help, I helped, I hid, I snuck up into my corner, I crawled out, I bawled, I wiped my tears, I wiped the tears of others with the same tissue. Let’s just say 2025 was a defining year, and before we all rush to say it’s a new year, there are so many things I’m grateful for.
I think the highlight for me was GOD. If anything, it became a lot clearer than I could ever deny that there was nothing I did with my own intelligence, design or power. All power belongs to GOD fr fr.
Career-Wise what have I been up to?
Do you guys remember my newsletter, Good girl no dey pay o? You can read it here. I lived the reality of that newsletter like mad. I went from pasture to pasture, searching for which one was greener, until I found one to settle for, and we’re here now, and on this quest, I discovered I’m the actual GOAT at what I do (pun intended like mad!).
I will give more details about my corporate ashawoism and the pepper my eyes saw, it was an eyesore (you dey feel the rhymes?). But it was majorly bad work places with surface value, I’ve found a wonderful place I intend to stay for a long long time.
This year, I’ll be really looking to just do stuff, live, let live, be audacious, help more people, shine through great work and partnerships, hit bigger goals, and be a lot more serious about my community and community building in general. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
A document I saved for you
So, I’m in this whatsapp group and they yap a lot. Brilliant people are there, but they yap a lot. I like the group because amidst the yapping, they drop some pretty rad resources. This is one of them. It has countless tools, links, books and AI tools to use as a creator. Whether you write, design, do marketing strategy, or just in the creative space, the resource is for you. My thoughts about the iShowSpeed Tour in Nigeria
LMAO, I actually don’t have thoughts about the disgraceful behaviour of Nigerians during this iShowSpeed Tour. I only want to say I blame myself and a lot of actual intellectuals we have for not taking the stage and being out there more.
If we had done better, maybe we’d have halved the disgrace and insult, or even better, completely erased it.
I honestly think we should do better this year with creating content as intellectuals and having real influencers that can move the needle and contribute meaningfully to the perception and reality other countries have about us. The foolish ones are louder and have the platform. It is well.

Wonderful to have you back! ❤️
Me licking my Agbalumo and reading this newsletter ❤️😗
